Ashwood Bamboo Blinds was first established in 1987 in Ashwood in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Ashwood Bamboo Blinds is a fully Australian owned family business.

At Ashwood Bamboo Blinds we specialize in the manufacture of Woven Timber Blinds, Bamboo Blinds, Matchstick Blinds and PVC Blinds. All of these products are a part of our exclusive Ashwood Décor Range. We are able to serve all over Australia with this range.

Additional to our decor range, we supply and install Venetian Blinds, Roller Blinds, Roman Blinds and Panel Blinds throughout Melbourne, Brisbane & Healesville.

At Ashwood Security Doors, we supply and install Steel Security Doors, Aluminium Security Doors, Window Grilles & Flyscreens throughout Melbourne.

Additional to our Melbourne office, we have offices in Healesville, 60kms east of Melbourne and Brisbane.
Our Brisbane office is the base for all Queensland & NSW enquiries for the Ashwood Décor Range.

The styles of blinds available are:

Ashwood Décor Range - ** Within all product ranges there are options for staining, clear lacquering and painting. Stain colours are Rosewood, Golden Oak & Walnut. Paint can be any colour.

Bamboo Blinds – Our bamboo blinds range provides options for both interior and exterior use. Bamboo is an environmentally friendly and natural product. There are both light filtering and blockout options. The exterior blinds options, natural bamboo and tortoiseshell, provide weather protection, light control and heat reduction for your home. The skin of the bamboo slats protects the blind from all weather conditions. This along with the synthetic stitching called tetron, makes them an extremely hardy product.

Woven Timber Blinds - For interior use, our woven timber blinds create a casual but classy window furnishing. This material has excellent insulating properties. It is an excellent choice for areas which require full privacy. It is also a very durable material which means that it will last for many years.

Matchstick Blinds - A simple but stylish blind that is suitable for many interior applications including sunrooms, kitchens and living areas. The fine slats of matchstick gently filter your view while reducing heat and glare.

PVC Blinds - Our PVC range is entitled ‘Horizon’. There are two different options available. Light filtering and blockout. The light filtering effect of horizon maintains your view whilst blocking the glare of the sun, protecting your furnishings from damaging rays. Horizon blinds are suitable for both interior and exterior use. The light filtering option is available in white, camel and coffee colours.

An overlap version, creating a blockout effect, is available in the camel colour. This is a popular alternative to other blockout blinds for wet areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and laundry’s.

Standard Size – ** Exterior Use Only

Matchstick & Bamboo Rollups - For external use only, Standard size blinds offer a quick and cheap window covering. These blinds come in natural colour only and roll up style only. They have cotton stitching and come with a bamboo rod top and bottom, sitting on cup hooks. All fittings are provided.

Roller Blinds

Roller blinds have a very smart and fresh looking design. They offer amazing versatility and can be made to suit any room or office. The Roller Blind will fit into and enhance any décor. You can select from many different types of materials which offer almost an endless amount of colour and design options. Our fabric range consist of sunscreen, light filtering and blockout options. All fabrics also have great UV ratings which enable you to protect your furnishings within your home.


Romans

Designed with a number of options available, Roman Blinds are suitable for most window applications. They are a stylish and affordable option. We have many different types of materials to choose from in all colours and designs that supply the Sunscreen, Light Filtering or Blockout effects.


Venetians

Always a popular choice in the market, venetian blinds provide a versatile choice of window covering within the home or office. Venetian blinds are easy to use and provide a great deal of control over the amount of light and privacy provided. There are numerous different options with venetian blinds meaning that they can provide a solution for all budgets. There are various different styles of venetians including cedar venetians, timber look venetians and aluminum venetians.
