ASN Electrical is a small family operated business servicing all areas of the ACT and into surrounding NSW. The business was established back in 2003 when brothers Andrew & Scott Nowland formed a partnership. Since this time they have gradually built this business up and formed a Pty Ltd Company, employing full time apprentices and tradesman. We have 5 fully equipped service vehicles to respond to any situation.

The main focus of ASN Electrical is to provide our customers with the best service possible, and ensure the quality of our work is of the highest standard, proud to be displayed for years to come.

Domestic work

ASN Electrical covers all aspects of electrical work within the domestic field. Anything from an extra power point to a fully automated new home, there is no job too big or too small.

We are the preferred electricians for a number of builders in the ACT & NSW regions. This work ranges from renovations and extensions through to brand new homes. We are fully qualified to fulfil all your phone, TV and data requirements. ASN Electrical also have commitments in the Air Conditioning industry, which involves wiring systems installed by qualified Air Conditioning installers in new or existing homes and businesses.

All our staff at ASN Electrical takes pride in what we do. We make sure there is no mess left behind us and use only quality products in your home. Our preferred product brand is Clipsal, a well known Australian company.

Commercial & Government work

ASN Electrical currently work with several builders, consultants, architects and designers on various projects throughout the Canberra and Queanbeyan region. We have demonstrated that we can meet all the requirements of our many satisfied clients, several of whom are listed below. This has involved sticking to tight project schedules, after hours work and meeting dead lines as required.

ASN Electrical are Certified Service Providers for APC (American Power Conversion). APC are an international company providing market leading solutions for home and corporate environments in power, data and cooling requirements. We can install & commission everything from small personal UPS’s to large scale data centre assemblies.

ASN Electrical is compliant with the National Code of Practice for the construction industry, a requirement to work on various Government projects.

Level 2 Service Provider

ASN Electrical is an Accredited Level Two Service Provider. This is a NSW based scheme, which allows us to undertake various tasks on the Country Energy network.

This enables us to provide our customers living in NSW - both metropolitan and rural – with more efficient service across all their electrical requirements.

What this allows us to do for you

Whether you need an overhead service, underground supplies, temporary supply, builder’s poles or any live work, we are able to assist.

For new premises – we can supply you with power from either an overhead or underground reticulated system. This will include the supply and installation of all your metering requirements.

For existing premises – we can provide any power upgrades (for example, single phase to three phase power upgrades), disconnects/reconnects, relocate your switchboard and/or mains, upgrade your metering requirements (for example, time of use metering, off peak metering etc) or even just advice.
