Apollo Lighting Service has been involved in supplying event power and area / stage lighting for about 40 years and is widely regarded as the premier supplier to the industry.
Apollo has long standing contracts / agreements with most of the large outdoor events in South Australia including Schutzenfest, Clipsal 500 (Stage area), Carols by Candlelight, SA Police Carols and Expo, Adelaide Festival of Arts, Adelaide Fringe, Schoolies, Adelaide City Council’s NYE, and Aust Day celebrations, RallySA, Feast of the Senses / Tasting Australia and Tour Down Under.
Apollo also have long standing arrangements for many smaller events including fundraising events such as JDRF ‘Walk for a Cure’, RSPCA ‘Million Paws Walk’, Leukaemia Foundation ‘Light the Night’, and cultural festivals for the Indian, Malaysian, Korean, Vietnamese and Indonesian communities in SA.
Apollo has a wealth of experience in providing ‘special looks’ for private and corporate functions including dinners and weddings.
Apollo Lighting Service is the main provider of Electrical Supplies and Site Lighting for most of the major music concerts and festivals held in SA which include Womad, Parklife, SummaDayze, Soundwave, Barossa Under the Stars, A Day on the Green concert series, and Symphony Under the Stars each year along with one off concerts such as AC/DC, Powderfinger, U2, Andre Rieu, Kings of Leon.
All work installed and all equipment supplied by Apollo Lighting Service complies with the ELECTRICITY ACT, AS3000:2007 (Wiring Rules) and AS3002:2008 (Shows and Carnivals) Electrical Standards and ETSA Utilities Service Rules.
Apollo Lighting Service holds $10,000,000 Public Liabilty Insurance and a copy of our Certificate of Currency is available upon request.
Apollo Lighting Services’ OHS&W policy was first developed in 1991 and is reviewed on a regular basis.
Apollo has a long tradition of training staff, both electrical apprentices and trades assistants. Along with the owner Bill Everett, Apollo currently employs 2 full-time electricians and has recently taken on a further 2 apprentices. Also employed are several casual staff (Electricians and T/A’s) to assist on events as required.
