About Us
Against the Grain is a family owned business with 17 years experience in the building industry. Having lived in the Blue Mountains all his life, Director and craftsman, David Spees, has great experience with and understanding of the local architecture and understands the importance of working and complementing the natural surroundings in every project he undertakes.
Focused on providing the highest standard of service, David quotes on the Project, communicates with the client and is onsite during the build. Against the Grain is fully insured and our tradesmen are skilled and competent to complete each project undertaken with both fine workmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
This level of commitment to has resulted in the steady growth of the business, with clients making Against the Grain their preferred builder and referring our services to friends and colleagues.
