Termites or white ants form nests within timber structures. If they exist in an older home or a high risk area inspections should be carried out annually. Generally termites attack a structure from bellow and nest in the ground building over the structure. Moisture is the life source for termites and they are often found in bathrooms and laundries.
If your house walls or joints have cracks or imperfections in the concrete structure these may be a potential entry point for termites to cause damage.
