CaesarStone - Benchtops

Do you like the look of stone countertops or surfaces but would prefer not to use natural stone because of the cost?  Why not consider CaesarStone – a great alternative that looks just like the real thing.

CaesarStone Uses

CaesarStone is used mainly for kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities.  It is made from 93 percent crushed quartz – one of the hardest materials available in nature – which is then combined with high-quality polymer resins and pigments before being compacted into dense, non-porous slabs.  The slabs are then post-cured, gauged to a precise thickness, and then polished to a lasting shine.

Benefits of Using CaesarStone

There are many benefits that come from using CaesarStone. These include:

  • a long lasting warranty
  • stain resistance
  • scratch resistance
  • mould and mildew resistance
  • chip and crack resistance
  • heat and burn resistance
  • resistance to chemicals, acids and solvents
  • immunity to freezing and thawing

In fact, CaesarStone is stronger, more durable, cleaner, safer, and more consistent than natural stone such as granite or marble.  Natural stone may have flaws or veins, while CaesarStone has more consistency in its pattern, making it great for decorator uses.

Colours and Finishes Available in CaesarStone

There are forty colours in the complete CaesarStone collection, meaning that there is a colour available for type of décor.  In addition, seven of the forty colours are available in a “honed” finish, giving the manufactured stone a unique matte appearance.  “Honed” finishes do require slightly more maintenance than the standard polished finishes however.  Several edge options are also available, to ensure that the bench is finished in a unique way.
