Zego External Insulated Façade System
ZEGO External Insulated Façade System (EIFS) is a versatile and economical fire retardant foam wall cladding system designed for any structural surface new or old including timber frame or steel frame and brickwork!
ZEGO EIFS is lightweight, provides excellent insulation properties and is extremely cost effective. ZEGO EIFS is also ideal for external walls with high exposure to sun and heat requiring no additional insulation.
ZEGO EIFS is very strong and flexible. This combined with the speed of erection makes it an extremely versatile alternative to conventional building methods.
The insulating properties of the foam cladding are purpose designed to thermally insulate the building and acts as a reflective barrier to sound, limiting any sound absorption.
Screw fixed onto a timber or steel frame, ZEGO EIFS is available in thicknesses of 52mm, 60mm, 100mm and 150mm. A simple one-man operation to install with approx 3 panels per square metre fixed vertically at 300mm centres and horizontally at 600mm centres. Therefore, only 9 fixings per square metre!
Each EIFS panel is 1150mm long by 300mm high ideally suited to Australian standard door heads of 2100 or 2400 and ceiling heights 2400, 2700 3000 etc. or cut to suit.
Male and female positive interlock enables the panels to interlock together with no adhesives required at joints.
A patented dovetail groove on the external surface guarantees render will not delaminate and an internal groove acts as a convection groove on the inside of the wall eliminating any condensation. Recommended render to CA 26 Compliance, thickness 8mm base coat with reinforcement mesh and 2-3mm coloured top coat textured or non-textured.
ZEGO EIFS panels are colour impregnated (grey) to reduce glare. Finishes include render, face brick, stone facing or weatherboard.
