Pamper Yourself With A Home Spa

Our lives are so busy and stressful today that sometimes relaxing seems like an impossibility.  But if you can find an hour out of your week, a home spa means that you can pamper yourself, feed your skin and get seriously relaxed at the same time.  Now, that’s the good type of multitasking!

You don’t want any distractions during your pamper session, so leave the phone off the hook, unplug the mobile and let the other members of the house know not to disturb you until you emerge.

Create Luxury

Luxury is the order of the day in a home spa bath.  Put on some soft, relaxing music, light some scented candles to lightly fill the air with your favourite smell.  If you can, dim the lights or leave them off altogether and use the candles to see by.  Of course, thick, fluffy towels will feel like heaven.  If you really want to indulge, invest in a spa-quality robe.

The Importance of Products

The products you use will make a big difference to your spa experience, and there are good products available in every price range.  Here is a short list of products that you may think of having in your home spa.  Of course, this is by no means an exhaustive list.

  • body scrub
  • body moisturizer
  • foot scrub
  • manicure/pedicure kit
  • foot moisturizer
  • face mask
  • facial exfoliator
  • facial moisturizer
  • eye cream
  • bath oils/bath bombs/bubble bath
  • hair mask/hair treatment
